You assume overall responsibility for quality management, quality assurance, and manufacturing along with related operations functions. The central focus is on strategically and operationally managing these areas and driving international transformation and performance enhancement initiatives.

Your responsibilities

Developing and implementing the quality and operations strategy
Leading, coaching, and developing multiple specialist teams and senior staff
Ensuring the quality management system according to ISO 9001
Increasing manufacturing performance and ensuring delivery reliability
Ensuring product availability through operational control measures
Achieving and monitoring cost and capacity targets
Managing site relocations, product launches, and production phase-outs
Preparing and implementing make-or-buy decisions and process transitions
Introducing and further developing KPI frameworks and reporting structures
Promoting lean management, automation, digitalization, and operational excellence

Your profile

Completed technical or business education (university or equivalent)
Several years of leadership experience in production, operations, or quality management
In-depth knowledge of modern quality management systems
Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
Experience leading complex transformation and change management projects
Knowledge in lean management and continuous improvement
Experience with automation and digital transformation
Understanding of supply chain management, production planning, and supplier management
Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
Excellent English skills along with strong communication and leadership abilities
