Leadership and operational responsibility for the agricultural sector, focusing on team management, strategic development, and coordination of regional activities. A central task is overseeing projects, promoting knowledge transfer, and representing agricultural functions to authorities and associations.

Your responsibilities

Lead the agricultural team of the regional organization both personally and professionally.
Further develop the agricultural sector strategically, organizationally, and economically with the management team.
Coordinate collaboration with regional agricultural advisors.
Develop common standards and training offerings for supporting member enterprises.
Coordinate social farm assistance and ensure cooperation with support associations, social security, and the state of Upper Austria.
Plan and manage agricultural projects and pilot initiatives.
Strengthen knowledge transfer within the network.
Integrate innovation, research findings, and practical experiences into agricultural practice.
Represent the agricultural sector at state and federal levels.
Maintain exchange with authorities, interest groups, professional institutions, and associations.

Your profile

Completed secondary education and/or degree (e.g., agricultural sciences) and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
Solid agricultural background and understanding of farming practices.
Knowledge of agricultural legal issues.
Knowledge of social security legal issues.
Knowledge of tax and organizational issues.
Ideally, an initial network with agricultural authorities/institutions in Upper Austria.
Ability to convey complex specialist content clearly.
Competence in bringing different interests to sustainable solutions.
Structured working approach and economic understanding.
Driver's license, own car, and willingness to travel regionally.
