Managing a production department with responsibility for achieving production, quality, cost, and safety objectives. Central tasks include leading and developing the assigned production managers, as well as the operational and strategic management of the production areas.

Your responsibilities

Take responsibility for a part of the production
Lead and develop production managers professionally, disciplinarily, and organizationally
Ensure production, quality, cost, and safety objectives are met
Establish a leadership culture and implement decisions consistently
Implement the specifications of plant management in the production areas
Ensure compliance with management systems and legal requirements
Analyze production, quality, and cost indicators and derive actions
Strengthen Lean and CIP culture and implement improvements
Coordinate and implement projects with plant management and relevant interfaces
Identify investment needs, evaluate projects, and support their implementation

Your profile

Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, metal technology, production technology or a comparable field
Ideally an HTL degree or equivalent qualification
Several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing company; took responsibility for larger teams, multiple production areas, or a department
Experience in leading and developing managers
Experience in process optimization and handling relevant production indicators
Confident handling of ERP systems
High standard of quality
Strong awareness of work safety, costs, productivity, and reliability
Entrepreneurial thinking and solution-oriented actions
Clear communication, decisiveness, assertiveness, and an appreciative leadership culture
