As the Head of Accounting and Group Consolidation, you hold primary responsibility for accounting, group financial statements, and tax and insurance-specific matters. You ensure reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and continuously refine the related processes.

Your responsibilities

Professional leadership of group accounting including accounting
Organizational leadership of group consolidation
Responsibility for Tax & Insurance
Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with national and international regulations
First point of contact for the external audit
Enhancement of accounting and consolidation processes
Management of tax issues, particularly sales tax and corporate tax, in coordination with internal and external experts
Management of insurance matters in collaboration with external insurance brokers
Responsibility for national and international payment transactions
Professional and personal leadership of the team, fostering individual skills

Your profile

Completed degree in economics (ideally focused on accounting, finance, tax law, or controlling)
Completed training including certification as a Certified IFRS Accountant
Several years of relevant professional experience in auditing, group accounting, tax consultancy, or financial reporting
Experience with national accounting standards (UGB, HGB, etc.)
Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS)
Knowledge in national and international tax law
Experience with SAP applications
Experience with modern financial tools
Analytical thinking, high accuracy, and a structured, solution-oriented approach; sense of responsibility
Strong communication skills at all levels of the company and fluent German and English skills
