You hold overall responsibility for strategic procurement, developing and implementing a globally-oriented, sustainable procurement strategy. Central to this role is leading a procurement team and ensuring supply security and cost optimization through supplier management and contract negotiations.

Your responsibilities

Development of a global, sustainable procurement strategy
Implementation of the procurement strategy to ensure supply security
Building strategic international supplier relationships
Further development and maintenance of existing supplier partnerships
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the procurement team (5 employees)
Conducting market analyses and benchmarking to identify potential savings
Alignment of the procurement process with production, quality, logistics, development, and finance
Ensuring compliance with supply chain due diligence and environmental, social, and compliance standards
Implementation and monitoring of relevant KPIs for supplier evaluation and development
Leading contract negotiations considering legal and economic conditions

Your profile

Completed education in the field of business, engineering, or supply chain management
Several years of professional experience in a similar role within an international, industrial environment
Solid experience in procuring electronic and control components
Experience in building strategic supplier partnerships
Leadership experience
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Analytical thinking skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and high level of initiative
Confident handling of ERP systems
German C1 and English C1
