Head of Finance

You lead the accounting team and take responsibility for managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Central to the role are coordination with the CFO and tax consultancy, as well as the development of accounting standards, processes, and systems.

Your responsibilities

Professional and personnel management of the accounting team in Austria
Overseeing and ensuring monthly financial statements in coordination with the CFO and tax consultancy
Overseeing and ensuring quarterly financial statements in coordination with the CFO and tax consultancy
Overseeing and ensuring annual financial statements in coordination with the CFO and tax consultancy
Coordinating VAT matters with tax consultancy
Coordinating accounting standards within the group
Developing efficient and consistent structures in accounting
Identifying potential for optimization in accounting
Developing processes, systems, and interfaces
Responsibility for operational accounting and support in complex accounting issues

Your profile

Several years of solid experience in accounting or finance and accounting
Ideally, previous leadership experience
High proficiency in financial reporting and statements
Strong understanding of complex financial relationships
Modern leadership approach combining clarity, trust, and employee development
Entrepreneurial thinking and a good sense for management-relevant information
Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high standard of quality
Strong sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality with a strategic perspective
Strong communication skills and confident demeanor with management, CFO, internal and external partners
Very good German skills (B2) and good English skills (B1)
