You take overall responsibility for the flow of goods from purchasing to availability in stores, ensuring products are at the right place at the right time. Additionally, you develop and implement planning and supply chain strategies, optimize inventory and working capital, and lead the merchandise planning and logistics departments.

Your responsibilities

Management of the end-to-end flow of goods from purchasing to store availability
Development and implementation of planning and supply chain strategy
Shaping corporate strategy from the perspective of supply and logistics
Responsibility for assortment and demand planning
Introduction and further development of modern forecasting methods
Optimization of product availability in stores
Management of working capital and inventory targets
Establishment of transparent KPI and control models
Professional and disciplinary leadership of a data-driven team
Building competencies and succession planning in the team

Your profile

Completed studies in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a comparable qualification
Several years of leadership experience in supply chain and merchandise planning or purchasing management
Experience in the retail, trade, or consumer goods sector
Experience with ERP and planning systems
Deep understanding of forecasting, goods management, and inventory management
Entrepreneurial thinking and action
Analytical skills and strong numerical affinity
High decision-making ability
Ability to bring together different interests and communicate on equal terms
Hands-on mentality and pragmatism
