You hold overall strategic and operational responsibility for the logistics departments. Key tasks include leading and developing the teams, resource planning, and implementing logistics projects.

Your responsibilities

Assuming overall strategic and operational responsibility for the logistics departments
Disciplinary leadership of the teams
Developing and motivating employees
Ensuring appropriate personnel and resource planning
Managing and implementing logistics and optimization projects
Ensuring and implementing quality standards (5S)
Ensuring workplace safety
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Serving as Safety Officer for Air Freight, Dangerous Goods Officer, and Waste Officer
Accountable for KPI-based reporting as well as analysis and optimization of internal and cross-departmental processes

Your profile

Completed commercial, technical, or logistics education (A-levels, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent)
Several years of relevant experience in a leading logistics role
Experience in an industrial environment (advantageous)
Proven experience in leading and developing employees
Training as a Dangerous Goods and/or Air Freight Safety Officer (advantageous)
Very good MS Office skills
Experience with KPI-based management models
Strong communication and assertiveness skills
Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible approach to work
Hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking
