We are seeking an experienced executive to lead accounting and controlling. In this role, you will have operational responsibility for bookkeeping, manage payment flows and liquidity, as well as budget creation and further development of controlling and reporting processes.

Your responsibilities

Take on technical and operational responsibility for preliminary bookkeeping
Ensure proper management of accounts receivable
Ensure proper management of accounts payable
Manage and record bank accounts
Administer and monitor cash management
Support in monthly closings in collaboration with tax consultancy
Support in annual closings in collaboration with tax consultancy
Manage payment flows
Conduct and maintain liquidity planning
Monitor deadlines and payment flows
Be the central interface with operational departments
Create transparent and meaningful analyses
Further develop controlling processes
Further develop reporting processes
Contribute your own ideas for process improvement

Your profile

Completed commercial training
Education focused on accounting or controlling
Several years of experience in accounting
Experience in a leadership or responsible role in accounting (ideally)
Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
Knowledge of Protel (PMS) is desirable
Knowledge of BMD (Accounting) is desirable
Excellent numerical understanding
Strong analytical skills
