In this position, you will be responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining telecommunication systems for smart meter communication. You will also manage projects and coordinate service providers related to communication and IT systems. The focus is on the professional support of communication solutions, including security and data protection measures.

Your responsibilities

Planning and project management of telecommunication systems in the smart meter sector
Support and maintenance of communication systems, including error analysis
Leading standby services to ensure system availability
Creation and maintenance of detailed system documentation
Supporting field technicians with technical inquiries
Designing and optimizing monitoring processes for IT systems
Development and implementation of maintenance processes
Coordination and management of external service providers, including commissioning and performance acceptance
Quality assurance through development and maintenance of service metrics
Implementation of IT security and data protection measures, including documentation

Your profile

Completed degree in computer science (university of applied sciences or university)
Experience with communication and telecommunication systems
Class B driving license.
Project management skills
Experience in process management is advantageous
Familiarity with mobile technologies is desirable
Knowledge in the operational management of electrical networks and systems is preferred
Willingness to participate in on-call service
Ability to create technical documentation
Expertise in IT security and data protection
