You take on overall responsibility for direct purchasing, including Supplier Quality Assurance, and manage strategic as well as operational procurement processes. In doing so, you lead and develop the purchasing team and coordinate international supplier management.
Your responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for direct purchasing (strategic)
- Management of operational purchasing processes
- Execution of project-related procurements
- Responsibility for Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)
- Leadership of the purchasing team
- Development of purchasing team employees
- Leadership and coordination of team leaders
- Selection of international suppliers
- Development of international suppliers
- Consolidation of suppliers
- Procurement planning for raw and auxiliary materials
- Procurement planning for purchased parts
- Coordination of price and terms negotiations for framework agreements
- Coordination of price and terms negotiations for individual orders
- Cost optimization initiatives
Your profile
- Ideally combined technical-economic education (e.g., industrial engineer)
- Several years of professional purchasing experience
- Several years of leadership experience in purchasing
- Experience in an international industrial environment (preferred)
